Steven Spielberg once refered to Indiana Jones as his version of James Bond. So that was one reason he added new wpmen in every movie. Also because he didn't get along with Karen Allen. But who in you opinion is the best out of the three. I would have to say Marion (Karen Allen). She was tough and pretty funny. If you go by looks then it would have to be Elsa from TLC.

I agree that Marion was probably the best female character all around. Elsa was the best looking. Willie was decent looking but too damn annoying, but not to Spielberg, I guess!

Definitely Marion. She had some spunk. Reminded me of Leia. Elsa would be much more like the traditional Bond girl. Hot chick who ends up betraying him. And Willie? I guess she was kind of like a Bond girl but really, I'm not sure what they were thinking with her.

Marion was probably the best because of her (deeper) relationship with Indy; Willie was not as bad as people make her out to be. She was right for that movie, that setting. And Elsa did become almost like a Bond girl but too bad we won't see her again ... unless ...

I think the idea behind Willie was someone that is the opposite of Indy. Someone who gets in the way and just acts annoying. She did a good job of that, eh?
