if you go to scifi.com and watch some of the video they drop some major clues as to what will happen to Gaius and what he is or is not.

So season 3 premier was tonight.
I think it was probably one of the best episodes I've seen. I have to admit that thier "bleaker is better" motto is something that has completely gotten me hooked. I loved the opening, I think that Starbuck with the "A-1" was great! (Cylon, its what's for dinner) Loved the cliff-hanger too......Speculations all around. -------------------- A Jedi's strength flows from the Force

The preview for the season sorta tipped their hand a bit. Thin Lee, Rosalin in office, no stash for Adama...

Truly awsome episodes!!!!!!! I'm glad i only just finished watching series 2 about a week ago. Though i'm still not convinced that Gaius is a cylon. Just seems too.....obvious. If another main/supporting character turns out to be a cyclon i'd guess maybe Gaeta or Dualla. Also, i love that they made Lee Adama get fat, just seems to make it more realistic.

Wow. Heavy episode. Certainly not an "upper" of a show.
Good stuff though, all around. I SOOO knew Gaeda was the "connection", especially since he was the only one not onscreen the whole time. Only complaint is that the make-up and fat suit on Apollo was really bad. But I can deal with it for now since it probably won't last very long. -------------------- I'd like to think it was his hand. It was pretty gusty in there. I'm not totally convinced Baltar is a Cylon either. I was convinced his hallucinations were just a guilt response until Caprica 6 started hallucinating Baltar last season.
For a couple minutes I though Laura Roslin was taken out- but then she was shown in the previews for upcoming episodes, which killed the anticipation. I might have to see that episode again I mean they had three guys shooting at a **** load of the Cylon bucketheads. I don't see how the pedestrians didn't get gunned down anyway.
Anyone see the parallels with these last episodes with the Iraq war not just the suicide bombings but the difference in religions? Greek Pantheon for the Humans and God for the imperialist Cylons? Odd choice for the writers. This is the first season I have really started paying attention to. -------------------- " Hail To The King, Baby! " - Ash, Army of Darkness

So Friday's episode was pretty memorable and had some pretty badass images. I loved the Galactica dropping in the atmosphere and then jumping like it did. So far this season has been pretty damn good and I can't wait for the next one.

Best. Frakkin. Episode. Ever!
That was probably the greatest episode of television I have ever seen. Galactica doing the freefall FTL jump, Pegasus coming to the rescue and going kamakaze. Pretty intense visual effects, an Emmy nomination might be heading their way. Battlestar Galactica > Lost. -------------------- XBox Live Gamertag: Awesome Pappy (pappy.xbox@hotmail.com)

What cracks me up the most though is that when the season came to an end and they took that jump a year or so into the future everyone wigged out about how it was TOO MUCH and the shows COMPLETELY DIFFERENT OMG!!!
It took them FOUR episodes... FOUR!!! And now it is back to status quo. Galactica, civilian fleet, looking for Earth. No Pegasus, no Baltar president, no moustash! -------------------- The sky above the port was the color of television, tuned to a dead channel...

I thought the jump forward was one of the ballsiest creative decisions ever. Even with the "status quo" seemingly restored, the impact of this event arc is still going to make for some great story material.

Absolutely! nes but old. It's the smartest thing you can do for show, to totally shake up the character's motivations and at the same time stick to the core concept you've always had.

Loved the episode. They sowed up the whole thing tute sweet... didn't linger... going to have some legitimate reprecussion type stuff for the next episode and to let everyone catch their breath.

The scene in the hanger where everybody shouts out Adama's name while Tigh hobbles off looking like a broken man and forgotten hero I think is going to play a big part in what's to come. I mean the guy killed his own wife to keep the insurgents safe, that's Jack Bauer type committment to the mission , and lost an eye. Adama, while bold in his tactics, didn't sacrifice much personally to achieve the rescue. I think Tigh is going to have some issues over that.
Also will Lee keep his current rank or be demoted? If so, do you guys think Tigh and him will be competing for the XO spot? -------------------- Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passion, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence. - John Adams,

I dont think Tigh wants to rejoin per say as the XO. I think he is done with the military and needs to retire for good. I think Adama may want to become the squad leader again, because it was what he was good at.
